LLM is a tool

Meta just released a new LLM, Llama 41, with a 10M context length. This means it can read many code bases whole. The Linux kernel is 40M lines of code2. Eventually that will be read whole. So if you, or anyone, are in computer science, then it is crucial to leverage this second brain.

Human have always built tools. I think one will not be replaced by AI, one will be replaced by another human equipped with AI tools. A LLM is a language AI. Language is quite universal, so other industries will see similar revolutions, if not already under way.
