Better Shoes, More Value

What if we buy four identical pairs of shoes and rotate wearing them? Since only one pair can be worn at a time, the “effective price” of the worn pair is four times the original price. We have many such items in storage: bags, cameras, clothing, and watches.

What if we buy just one pair of shoes that is four times the price? This pair of shoes might be so much better at its job.

What if we buy just one pair of shoes and reallocate the financial resource somewhere else? Might that resource do a better job?

What if we do both, buy at a pair of shoes at double of original price? This very good pair of shoes is worn daily. The remaining amount will find a better use.
