What if we understand mind's hunger
When we are thirsty, we look for and drink water. When we are hungry, we search for food. Not just any type of food, we seek out food that satisfies us, whether it be rice, fried chicken, or ice cream. Somehow our body knows what it wants.
When we are curious, say during a class lecture, we raise our hands and ask questions. When we have curiosity hunger, we read and learn. Not just any type of information, we seek out YouTube, social media, books, or others. Somehow our mind knows what it wants.
Curiosity is an emotion. What if we are really aware of that emotion? What if we can deeply understand the underlying taste of meaning and need? Would we be able to feed our mind with what it really seeks?
